Established in 1972 in response to the Indo–Pakistan War of 1971, Seva Kendra Siliguri has become the human face of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Bagdogra. It serves as the Social Service Centre of the Catholic Diocese of Bagdogra, working for the upliftment of marginalized communities. Over the years, its journey has evolved from providing emergency food relief to promoting long-term human rights, social justice, and community empowerment through various development initiatives.
